The massive #mehrangarh fort in Jodhpur mehrangarh built in 1459 by Rao Jodha the founder of the Jodhpur dynasty of the Rathores, perched majestically at a height of 400 feet, looking down on the blue city. It’s thick rock cut walls, grand ornate rooms like the Moti Mahal Palace, Phool Mahal & Sheesh Mahal, royal collections of weapons, armours, costumes, palanquins & paintings & offering panoramic views of the city are truly a marvel & a historian’s delight. Can’t thank Maharaja gajsinghbapji & the Mehrangarh Fort Museum Trust for this privilege of an exclusive guided tour ! 🙏
