Float Game 😤 

Probably one of the most important skills that you can add to your bag in today’s game. With the size and length of rim protectors and 3-5’s in today’s sport, you really need to be able to hit the 1 handed runner/floater. Especially as a smaller guard, this shot is essential to add to your game. 

Whilst the “touch” of the shot is very important, like most things - it is set up with your footwork early on. 

Daily practice, multiple reps , and a lot of trial and error is key to learning how this shot will work best for you. Don’t be afraid to miss (A Lot!) it takes a lot of discipline, discovery and patience, in order to perfect it, especially as a junior player.

Remember 

Have fun with it , be patient, and play around with different height, releases, touch and balance.
