We’ve just got our first proper look at The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum and, lads, we are so back 🥹🙌

The new images take us straight back to the Shire and show Elijah Wood returning as Frodo outside the iconic Bag End.

Andy Serkis is directing as well as returning as Gollum, while Ian McKellen is officially back as Gandalf and Peter Jackson is producing.

The story takes place before and during The Fellowship of the Ring, following the hunt for Gollum before Sauron’s forces can find him.

It arrives in cinemas on 17 December 2027. Christmas plans officially sorted 💍
