I was scared that running slower would make me slower. turns out, I was just making my easy runs wayyyy harder than they needed to be.

& ofc, a lot goes into becoming a better runner, but letting my easy runs actually feel easy has been one of the biggest changes I’ve made. It was humbling at first (especially on Strava lol), until I realized I have nothing to prove on an easy run.

my pace is my pace. And if I want to keep getting faster, I have to be willing to slow down !!
