Day 1 Recap 🤍❤️

We kicked off Luke’s Dream Weekend with the sweetest send-off at his house, surrounded by his friends, family, and our NC State Dream team that made this weekend possible! One knock on the door and Luke’s Dream Weekend officially began! Luke was surprised with gifts, swag, and a personal limo for the weekend before heading to Mellow Mushroom for lunch with his family, and the dream team.

Next stop: NC State men’s basketball practice!! Luke got the full behind-the-scenes experience, touring the facilities and making himself right at home in both the locker room and on the court. He watched practice, shot around with the players, made new friends (with plenty of high fives along the way), and jumped into countless team huddles with his favorite guys.

After checking into the hotel, he got a warm welcome as the staff lined the entrance and cheered for him. He even met a special guest, Dereck Whittenburg, a member of the 1983 National Championship team!

We wrapped up the day with a Red & White shopping spree (because you can never have enough NC State gear) and dinner and arcade games with the team at Tobacco Road. A packed first day full of smiles, memories, and dreams coming true!!
