​"RM x SFMOMA: Between You and Me" is rooted in RM's deep care for the artists and artworks that speak to him and his desire to share them with others.​

​His perspective is present in every part of the exhibition, from the selection and placement of works on view to the gallery design. He wrote the wall texts and narrates the audio guide, bringing his voice directly into the experience.​

​You'll see nearly 200 works from RM's and our collections. The exhibition puts key Korean artists like Yun Hyong-keun, Park Rehyun, and Chang Ucchin in conversation with works by notable American and European artists like Mark Rothko, Agnes Martin, and Georgia O’Keeffe. ​
