Would you trade your Chick-fil-A order for Shaq's chicken? 👀

Big Chicken just made history at Jackson State University — the fast-casual chain founded by Shaquille O'Neal opened its first-ever HBCU location inside the Legacy Food Court, taking over the old Chick-fil-A spot. JSU held a ribbon-cutting on September 18 with free samples for students, and the doors open to everyone on September 22.

The move traces back to a real friendship — Shaq and JSU men's basketball coach Mo Williams were teammates on the Cleveland Cavaliers back in 2009-10, and that bond followed Williams into HBCU coaching. Big Chicken opened its first-ever college campus location at Emory last fall — now Jackson State becomes the first HBCU to land the deal.
