I can see where I can start to get on people's nerves 🤣🤷🏽‍♂️

You guys saw the marlin i hooked and LOST last week. That in itself was an epic encounter and I was still excited to have one opportunity at a local striped marlin (even though they can be targeted trolling most years). Of course I forgot to put my brand new tillerfabrication gaff in the boat that morning 🤦🏽‍♂️

Well after re-tying & sending out another mackerel, it happened AGAIN! This time I was victorious! I kept it and had pacificcoastfishco come pick it up to process it so we can consume this delicious fish for many months.

It continues to be a challenging fishing season for many anglers, at times myself included. However, the opportunity is there and it's been a blast figuring out ways to get bit. Stoked to share this epic experience with the_cigar_afishinado and thanks to everybody that was cheering us on...both times!

I got several messages with photos and videos from anglers from the various other boats that were rad to see. Much love to the community and culture. Lots of positivity out here, don't let the occasional salty ones paint a bad picture of us collectively. Everybody was helpful and considerate as we try to be.

Plenty of time left to scratch off some fishing achievements if you want to get out! Yesterday we had a 15-20lb dorado charge a hooked calico at the boat in 43 ft of water! There's all kinds of cool stuff to do with a fishing rod in our hands over the next few months!

Let's Fn GO! I have this Saturday and Sunday (now booked) available due to reschedule.
