The stage is set for what could be one of the greatest 1500m Olympic finals we’ve ever seen.

At the LA 2028 Olympics, could we see Jakob Ingebrigtsen, Cole Hocker, and Josh Kerr go head-to-head once again?

After an unforgettable 1500m final in Paris 2024, where Cole Hocker took Olympic gold, Josh Kerr claimed silver, and Jakob Ingebrigtsen finished fourth, the rivalry is far from over.

In this video, we take a look at all three athletes individually — their strengths, weaknesses, championship experience, recent performances, and what could determine their chances of winning Olympic gold in Los Angeles.

And with two years still to go before LA 2028, there could be plenty of twists, new challengers, and surprises along the way.
