#TSRTrialWatch: The sister of #NicoleLinton, the former traveling nurse accused of killing six people in a fiery 2022 crash at the intersection of La Brea and Slauson avenues, became emotional on the stand as she described a series of bizarre video calls with Nicole in the minutes leading up to the collision, per pagesix.

#KimberlyLinton testified Monday that Nicole made five video calls while driving on Aug. 4, 2022, including one that lasted about six minutes. Kimberly said Nicole appeared confused and was speaking “gibberish” and “complete nonsense” during the call. At one point, Nicole mentioned Kimberly’s daughter, who lives in Philadelphia, and said, “Pack a lunch for daughter, I’m going to take her to school.”

She also reportedly told Kimberly she was going to marry actor #WillSmith and instructed her sister to “meet me at the altar.” Kimberly said she called their other sister, Camille, immediately after the strange exchange, around the same time Nicole crashed into traffic at the Windsor Hills intersection.

Kimberly also testified that Nicole’s behavior had been unusual in the days leading up to the crash. She said Nicole had been “cleaning obsessively” and at one point appeared naked during a video call. As we previously reported, Nicole is facing six counts of murder in connection to the crash. Prosecutors allege she was driving at speeds reaching approximately 130 mph before running a red light and causing the deadly collision.

Her defense has maintained that Linton suffered a sudden seizure and lost control of her Mercedes. Neurologist Dr. David Millett testified that he believed Linton “likely suffered a seizure,” pointing to evidence he said was consistent with a type of seizure that can cause unconsciousness. Linton waived her right to testify Monday after her defense rested its case. Prosecutors have since begun presenting their rebuttal case.
