A childhood dream, finally becoming real 20 years later. 🤯🔥

After seeing Matthew Hallberg’s Pokémon AR demo, developer Shin decided to build his own prototype that brings Yu-Gi-Oh! into the real world using Snap’s new Specs.

The glasses transform a regular table into a full Yu-Gi-Oh! duel field. They can recognize physical cards, track Life Points and game phases, and even bring 3D monsters to life right on top of the cards.

In the demo, Shin sacrifices two monsters to summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon, then watches it attack and destroy Dark Magician in augmented reality. 🐉⚡

The prototype was built using Astra + CLAD on Snap Specs.

This is basically the Yu-Gi-Oh! experience every fan dreamed about as a kid. 😭🔥
