This might be one of the strangest ways to visualize what the fourth dimension could look like. 👀

A regular 2D video of a deer was reconstructed into 4D, with each moment of its movement represented as a 3D snapshot placed at the exact point in space and time where it occurred.

Instead of seeing the deer move through one frame after another, you can visualize its entire journey through space and time simultaneously, producing this surreal, almost millipede-like trail.

It brings to mind an idea from Kurt Vonnegut’s Slaughterhouse-Five, where the Tralfamadorians experience time in a completely different way, perceiving different moments of a person’s life as parts of one larger whole.

And it leads to an incredible thought: if a higher-dimensional being could perceive time the way we perceive physical space, would this be what we look like to it? Every moment of our lives existing together at once.
