t’s Day 216… And somewhere along the way, it stopped being entirely about the golf swing. It became about everything that lives adjacent to it. The camaraderie. The competition. The memories you didn’t know you were making. The strange belief that something technically difficult is still worth doing, whether you’re an elite athlete or someone who has no business trying the shot they’re about to try. Maybe that’s why we ike the chase. There’s something necessary about choosing difficult things. Within capacity. Within moderation. Not because you have to conquer them, but because of what happens while you’re trying. We spend so much time watching life happen on tiny screens. Scrolling through someone else’s round. Someone else’s trip. Someone else’s attempt at becoming good at something. And sure, watching is cool. But there’s a difference between seeing something and being there. Feeling the grass under your feet. Laughing after a terrible shot. Standing over one that matters. Waiting for that crusty range mat that brings hope in wired plastic Watching the light disappear with people you might not have known otherwise. So play. Not because it gets views. Not because it gets clicks. Not even because you’ll ever be great at it. Play because you can. And because somewhere between the first tee and whatever comes after the last, you might find something worth keeping. About the game. About the people around you. About yourself. See ya tmrw 🐺 #golf #fyp #golftiktok #breakingube
