The Lions expect to have Miller back after sitting out the Buffalo game on a short week due to a knee injury. He’ll see plenty of No. 2 overall pick Bailey, who became just the second player in the NGS era (since 2016) to register five-plus pressures in each of his first two career games (Joey Bosa in 2016).

New York’s defense has been very good to begin the year. They’ve held Tennessee (195) and Green Bay (199) to under 200 total yards of offense the first two weeks and rank No. 1 in total defense going into Week 3. Jets defenders have been particularly good at punching the football out. In two weeks, New York has forced six fumbles and recovered two.

Detroit's defense will look to tighten up against Smith and the Jets offense on Sunday. Smith has completed 71 percent of his passes with a 95.8 rating and no interceptions through the first two weeks of the season.
