Evan Peña came to the 2026 Curry Cup Championship at Bethpage Black Golf Course ready to compete on one of the most storied and demanding golf courses in the world. A course that has hosted multiple U.S. Opens. A course that has tested the greatest players the sport has ever seen.

And today, Evan Peña walked off Bethpage Black as the 2026 Curry Cup Boys Champion.

Winning the Curry Cup is not just a title. It is national recognition as one of the premier junior golfers in the country. It means an automatic invitation to the Underrated Golf Tour’s European stop the following year — competing on world-class courses across the UK and Europe alongside the best junior golfers the tour has to offer. It means visibility on a stage where college coaches, corporate sponsors, and golf industry leaders are watching and taking note.

Bethpage Black doesn’t give anything to anyone. Every stroke has to be earned. Every putt has to be made. Every decision under pressure has to be the right one.

Evan Pena made all of them today.
This is what the Underrated Golf Tour was built for — creating pathways and platforms for athletes who deserve to be seen on the biggest stages in the game.

Congratulations, Evan Peña. The journey is just getting started. 🏆
