IN CONVERSATION WITH MARINA PERUNKOVA

What happens to our inner world when contemporary life demands that we are always present, connected, and available?

For AI/CC September Featured Artist Marina Perunkova, this question sits at the heart of her artistic practice.

Coming from more than a decade in programming, Marina found in AI a creative space where structure meets intuition, and control leaves room for unpredictability. Her atmospheric works explore solitude, melancholy, social expectations, and the search for inner grounding in an increasingly demanding world.

In our Featured Artist interview, Marina speaks about her unexpected journey from programming into art, the personal experiences behind her work, her creative process, and why she believes artistic intention becomes even more important as AI makes image-making increasingly accessible.
