Between Stimulus and Consciousness

AI/CC is pleased to join creAtIva AI Art Book as an official media partner for the international open call for Vol. 11 — MIND: Between Stimulus and Consciousness.

What happens inside us before an image appears?

MIND invites artists to explore the invisible territories between stimulus, perception and consciousness — where memories are reconstructed, identities shift, dreams emerge, emotions take form, and our inner worlds encounter increasingly complex digital environments.

The open call welcomes interpretations around memory, dreams, identity, perception, consciousness, the relationship between mind and body, hyperconnectivity, artificial intelligence, digital identity, algorithms and the ways contemporary systems shape how we think, feel and remember. Technology can be part of the work, but it does not need to be its subject; the emphasis is on the strength of the artistic idea and its visual articulation.

Thirty artists will be selected for creAtIva Vol. 11, with each selected artist receiving an 8-page editorial feature presenting their visual and conceptual project.

Open internationally until 6 October 2026.
Registration fee: €12. Selected artists have an additional €99 participation fee.
