#ALUMNISPOTLIGHT ⚜️ with Maggie Bunch!

“Hi all! My name is Maggie Bunch, PC ’22, and I’m a Mizzou Kappa alumna currently living in NYC and working as an NBC Page!

As an NBC Page, I get to rotate through different departments of NBCUniversal at 30 Rock, gaining hands-on experience across the media, news and entertainment industry. I also get to give studio tours and work audience services for shows like SNL and The Tonight Show!

I graduated this past May with a degree in journalism, and so much of my college experience was shaped by my time in Kappa. It was the first place I really felt at home. I met some of my closest friends, along with girls I still look up to as mentors. I always felt supported through the toughest times and celebrated during the happiest ones.

Even just a few months out from graduation, I find myself thinking about all of the memories I made at 512 Rollins. Whether it was movie nights in the third-floor lounge or all-nighters for Homecoming in the uncovered lot, I always felt like I could be my genuine self. Being surrounded by so many driven and supportive women also pushed me to grow, go after new opportunities and believe in what I was capable of.

Now, moving to New York and starting my career, I love knowing those friendships didn’t end when I left college. Some of my best friends are still only a phone call or FaceTime away, and it has been so fun getting to cheer each other on as we figure out life after college.

I’ll always be grateful that Kappa gave me a place to call home during college, but even more grateful that it gave me some of the people I know I’ll have in my corner for life.🩵✨”
