Joy can become a competitive advantage when teammates genuinely care for one another. Veronica Burton opens her Andscape diary to show the Golden State Valkyries’ chemistry on and off the court. At Topgolf, the team’s competitive edge comes out through laughter before the night continues at Meski restaurant in San Francisco. Burton reflects on her growing friendship with fellow guard Kaitlyn Chen and the rituals that bring out their playful side. As the WNBA playoffs near, she explains how love, accountability and shared expectations shape Golden State’s pursuit of a deeper run.
