Craziest derby ever? ✈️ 🇸🇪 

We spent 48hrs in Stockholm and got to catch one of the fiercest rivalries in Europe. So here’s 8 things you should check out if you’re ever in Zlatan’s country…

1. Attend the “Tvillingderbyt” (the Twin Derby in English) between Djurgården and AIK. Both clubs were founded in Stockholm in the spring of 1891 and have been battling for dominance ever since.

2. Go kayaking in the morning. It’s so serene and gives a great view of the city.

3. Get coffee at Café Pascal, one of the top specialty coffee shops in the city and frequently cited as one of the best coffee destinations in Europe.

4. Visit the Old Town in Stockholm, which dates back to the 13th century and has medieval alleyways, cobbled streets, and town squares.

5. Take the time to appreciate Stockholm’s Metro Art. More than 90 of its 100 stations are decorated with unique artwork.

6. Visit the Fotografiska Museum to check out incredible photography exhibitions.

7. Grab sausage sandwiches at Brunos Korvbar. We really enjoyed the Kabanos.

8. Take in the tifos and insane passion shown by the football fans at these games. The Twin Derby was probably one of the wildest atmospheres we’ve been lucky to see in our travels. 

We were only there for a short time, so what else should fans try if they’re traveling for soccer?
