Four weeks ago, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life.

I walked away from my employer, along with the pension, benefits, and security, to finally go all-in on something I’ve been working toward for years.
-
My passion. My craft. And an opportunity to make a difference in the skilled trades.
-
Social media has given me a platform and opportunities I never thought possible. It didn’t happen overnight, but after years of creating, learning, failing, and adjusting, I finally reached a point where pursuing this full-time made sense.

Now I want to use this platform to teach, inspire, and help bring more attention back to the skilled trades — while also helping other tradespeople understand what’s possible through social media.

Some of my favourite conversations at trade shows aren’t even about tools. They’re the long conversations with other tradespeople asking how they can improve their pages, grow their audience, and create better content.

And if you’ve had one of those conversations with me, you know I’m an open book. I’ll share as much knowledge and insight as I can because I don’t see other tradespeople succeeding as competition.

We need more people sharing their knowledge and inspiring the next generation.
