## Caption

When Katie’s friends invited her to read the Book of Mormon, she didn’t know what to expect. But she immediately felt peace.

So much of the Book of Mormon felt familiar to Katie’s upbringing. Here was the “same Jesus with the same scars in His hands and side teaching the same gospel” (3 Nephi 11).

There were also things that felt new. Here were the “other sheep” that Christ spoke of in the New Testament (John 10:16). It felt like she had found the missing half of the story.

The Book of Mormon gave Katie a greater sense of purpose and identity. It deepened her faith in Christ.

What does the Book of Mormon mean to you?
