Reports of a possible shooting at Miami International Airport sparked a heavy police presence Wednesday afternoon.

According to reporting from our sister station NBC Miami, Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office officials say a person was taken into custody after deputies responded to reports of shots fired at the airport.

Cell phone footage from the scene showed deputies, including some in tactical gear and carrying rifles, outside the airport, closing off some areas with yellow crime scene tape.
