Breaking: 2027 power forward Dawson Battie has reportedly committed to Nebraska. He’s the highest commit ever to join Huskers basketball. News reported by espn’s Paul Biancardi

The No. 24 prospect in the 2027 class visited Lincoln this past weekend, including taking in No. 1 Nebraska volleyball at Devaney.

The 6-foot-10 forward joins a promising future for Fred Hoiberg’s program alongside two top-100 freshmen already in Lincoln. 📈

Battie’s dad and brother played at Temple, while his uncle, Tony Battie, was the No. 5 overall pick in the 1997 NBA Draft.
