A Chandler man is behind bars after court documents say he made a series of disturbing threats involving children at a local elementary school and Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs and her family.

Investigators say 40-year-old Daniel Lamb wrote about children at BASIS Chandler Primary North, called the barrier around them “pretty flimsy,” and allegedly said the only thing stopping him from running them over during recess was that he was “a good person.” Authorities say other messages contained threats against Hobbs and her family, along with a warning that he would drive into a group of people if police tried to stop him.

Police reportedly tracked Lamb through his phone and arrested him outside a Chandler home. He was booked on a felony charge of making a terrorist threat. Prosecutors requested a $250,000 bond, but a judge set it at $100,000. If he posts bond, he’ll be placed on electronic monitoring.

This whole case is wild. What do y’all make of it?
