Before Frank Ocean became one of the most elusive artists in music, you could catch him casually popping into Ciara’s Ustream to talk about going home and watching Dragon Ball Z 😭

This was back in 2010, when Frank was still known as “Lonny Breaux” and working closely around Tricky Stewart’s camp 🔥

At the time, he was much more established behind the scenes as a songwriter, with his own career still waiting to fully take shape. Ciara was one of the people around him early, and has since recalled Tricky introducing them and immediately seeing something special in Frank 🤝

Less than a year later, ‘nostalgia, ULTRA’ would introduce a completely different version of him to the world. Looking back now, clips like this feel almost unreal. Just Frank before it all, casually talking about what episode of DBZ he was about to watch 😂

Who remembers this stream 🤔
