21 years ago today, Ye performed “Through the Wire” backed by an all-female orchestra 👩‍🎓🎻

At Abbey Road Studios, in front of only 300 invited guests, Ye completely reimagined songs from his first two albums and called it ‘Late Orchestration’ 🎼

With a 17-member orchestra, Ye proved that classical music and hip-hop don’t HAVE to be separate worlds, saying that “it’s all music” 🗣️

Watching “Through the Wire” in this setting feels especially fitting for that sentiment. A song Ye originally made by turning one of the worst moments of his life into music was then being performed at one of the most historic studios in the world with a whole orchestra behind him 😮‍💨

Have you guys seen this before? How do y’all like this version? 🤔
