For millions of students, inclusion is still a policy on paper, not a reality.

The Unified Champion Schools® Inclusion Academy is working to change that by equipping educators with the knowledge, practical tools, and strategies to embed inclusion into everyday teaching and learning.

The people whose lives are most directly affected by exclusion should also have a voice in how inclusion is taught. Throughout the Academy, Special Olympics athletes and youth leaders share personal stories and lived insights, showing how sport can challenge perceptions, build confidence and create opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities to participate, contribute and lead.

Developed with global experts in curriculum design, learning science and inclusion in education, the Academy brings these experiences together with evidence, expert guidance and practical strategies. It helps educators understand what inclusion looks and feels like across classrooms, sports settings and school communities, and how they can apply it within their own settings.

Inclusion should not live only in policy. It should be felt in every game, classroom, every school, and by every student.
