SMU Basketball head coach Andy Enfield joins Vince Wolfram on That’s A W to break down the Mustangs’ new-look roster, his vision for the upcoming season, the legendary Dunk City run, and the changing landscape of college basketball.

After losing five starters, Enfield has assembled a revamped SMU team featuring returning talent, transfer additions, and a strong Texas recruiting presence. With more size, length, and defensive versatility, the Mustangs are preparing to build on their fast-paced offensive identity with a renewed emphasis on defense and rebounding.

Enfield discusses the development of Jaden Toombs, the additions of Rowan Brumbaugh and Nic Codie, the importance of recruiting Dallas and Texas talent, and what he expects from SMU in the ACC.

The conversation also goes beyond the upcoming season. Enfield revisits his unforgettable Dunk City run at Florida Gulf Coast, his coaching journey through the NBA and USC, and the lessons that shaped his approach to building a successful college basketball program.

Plus, Enfield shares his perspective on NIL, the transfer portal, and what he would change about the current state of college basketball.
