“Reading by the last light” 
Since last November, I’ve traveled the most in five months since I’ve been retired.Kenya, London,Japan (twice) Thailand,Myanmar and Cuba. I finally now have time to sit and look at some of the images that I’ve taken for enlarging consideration. This photo was taken in Bagan,Myanmar in a temple with a novice monk doing his reading by last light. The trip to Myanmar got canceled last year April due to a 7.7 earthquake that hit there this year when traveling the government had a high-level warning due to civil unrest & military activity.
 I weighed my options and chose to go, and I’m glad I did despite a few military checkpoints. It was one of the best trips I’ve taken this year. The people were amazing. The travel was great. The photography opportunities were endless, I  never felt like there was any danger. That’s not to say there wasn’t somewhere. I just never encountered it. Very thankful for my guides and the opportunity to travel there and capture some opportunities with my photography.
