## Caption

This World Alzheimer’s Day (21 Sep), we shine a light on dementia awareness and the importance of creating meaningful arts experiences for where living with dementia.

At Esplanade, selected performances like Coffee Morning & Afternoon Tea are Relaxed Environment settings, so that audience members like Steven can experience the arts in a comfortable and welcoming environment. We are also Singapore's first Dementia-Friendly Arts Venue and a Dementia Go-To Point, with our staff and ushers trained to recognise persons with dementia, and to respond to them with care. 

💜💛 Esplanade’s domes will also light up in purple and yellow this evening in support of dementiasingapore's annual #ShineForDementia campaign. We hope to create more opportunities for people living with dementia and their caregivers to feel seen, supported and included.
