IT’S TUESDAY AND WE ARE BACK WITH ANOTHER #BESTOFBAMAKD !🍀

Today we’re featuring two besties who found each other through KD — Meet Lily Hines from Montgomery, Alabama & Macy Gilbert from Vail, Colorado! From bid day and beyond, their friendship has been the sweetest reminder of what our sisterhood is all about! 💚

“Pledging KD and meeting Lily has been the biggest blessing, and I am so grateful I get to call her my best friend! Being over 1,000 miles from Colorado, it is so nice to know I have found a sister in Tuscaloosa who surrounds me with love, support, and makes Alabama feel just like home. This summer, we made the sweetest memories living together in Charleston — it was truly unforgettable, and I can’t wait to create more memories with her for years and years to come. It is the best feeling knowing I will always have Lily in my life. 

KD has brought me so many supportive, genuine, and welcoming friends, and I can’t imagine doing college without them — especially Lily.”

“Pledging KD was such an easy choice for me and quickly proved to be one of the most meaningful aspects of my college experience. While I knew I would make cherished memories and lifelong friends, I am especially thankful to have met Macy. One of the coolest things about our sisterhood is how it brings together girls from all over the country — I grew up only two hours from Tuscaloosa, and I never would’ve expected my best friend would be from all the way out in Colorado! Simply spending time with Macy and our other KD sisters always leaves me feeling loved and so very thankful for the experiences KD has given me. Whether it is eating lunch in the KD dining room or living in Charleston for the summer, we always have the best time together!

Almost a year later, it is hard to imagine my life without Macy and I can’t wait for PC ‘25 to find friendships just like ours!”
