Blake O’Quinn, a third-generation Texas rancher, says the data center boom threatens his way of life. “We're stewards of this land. We're here to take care of it and pass it on to the next generation of Texans,” says O’Quinn. “Rural Texans are going to fight as hard as anybody, 'cause that's all we know how to do. We won’t give up. We’re going to keep fighting against big tech AI, and we’ll prevail,” he adds. There are more than 3,000 data centers across the U.S., and another 1,500 proposed. #bigtech #datacenter #texas #rancher
