CommBank Socceroos defender Aziz Behich speaks to media in Brisbane as Australia returns to camp ahead of two mouthwatering friendlies against Brazil in Queensland.

Behich reflects on the Socceroos’ FIFA World Cup 2026™ campaign, the pain of exiting on penalties against Egypt, and why the squad can still take great pride and confidence from qualifying automatically, progressing from the group and pushing deep into knockout football.

The defender also discusses his own World Cup experience, the focus now shifting towards the Asian Cup, the challenge of facing five-time World Cup winners Brazil, the excitement of playing in front of big home crowds in Townsville and Brisbane, and Mohamed Toure’s strong start to the season.
