Gloria Steinem taught us that self-esteem was never just a personal issue.

It was political.

Because when you know your worth, you become much harder to convince that you deserve less.

Less money. Less power. Less freedom. Less opportunity. Less of a voice.

Her work changed the world for women. But as this carousel reminds us, the work is not finished.

The revolution outside of us depends, in part, on the revolution within.

So know what you are worth.

Stop asking permission to want more.

Stop shrinking to make other people comfortable.

Stop believing your value has to be earned.

And then take that knowing into the world.

Thank you, Gloria. For fighting, speaking, refusing to accept the world as it was, and showing generations of women what was possible.
