🎸GIGANTAR is back at our legendary neighbor's pad illinois_rockrollmuseum ! Come party with us to celebrate 🥳

Repost illinois_rockrollmuseum :
Tomorrow evening, our larger-than-life friend makes its GRAND RETURN to the Illinois Rock & Roll Museum, and we want YOU there to help us flip the switch! 🤘✨

Join us for a FREE public lighting ceremony as we officially welcome Gigantar back home. We’ll be closing W. Cass Street directly in front of the museum, so come out, bring your friends and family, and help us give Gigantar the homecoming it deserves!

📍 9 W Cass St, Joliet, IL 60432
⏰ 7 pm lighting ceremony
🥳 After-party at The Forge following the ceremony (cash bar!!)

And Gigantar isn’t the only reason to join us! 🎶 Special guests include Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon and Jim Peterik of The Ides of March, formerly of Survivor and of 38 Special fame, plus a special performance by Cornerstone Drumline.

After everything Gigantar (and the museum) has been through, we can’t think of a more illuminating (😃) way to celebrate this next chapter.

Now, help us spread the LIGHT! ✨ Share this post with your friends, neighbors, and fellow music lovers, then tag someone in the comments who needs to join you for Gigantar’s big homecoming! 🎸👇

Let’s pack W. Cass Street and LIGHT UP JOLIET together!
