Our Executive Director, Dennis Powell, rolled up his sleeve at the Community Blood Drive hosted by our partners at the Black Archives of Mid-America.

Blood donations help patients facing emergencies, surgeries, and serious illnesses. During Sickle Cell Awareness Month, we’re also mindful that some people living with sickle cell disease need transfusions as part of their care.

Thank you to the Black Archives and Community Blood Center for bringing our community together to give. If you’re able, consider making an appointment at a future blood drive.
