The NHL Salary Cap is expected to go up A LOT in the next couple of seasons 😳

The National Hockey League recently convened for their Board of Governors meeting and estimated that the league cap could go to $127.5M 💸

Per Elliotte Friedman, this would also be the largest season-to-season jump of the cap era, at $14 million. 

As of right now Boston would have just David Pastrnak, Elias Lindholm, JJ Peterka, Fraser Minten, Morgan Geekie, Tanner Jeannot, Charlie McAvoy, Hampus Lindholm, Nikita Zadorov and Will Borgen as well as Jeremy Swayman under contract, making a combined $76M in 2028-29.
