Toyota just recreated an ICONIC scene from Cars — but this time, in FIA WEC. 🏎️🏁🔥

What happens when one of the most recognizable moments from Pixar’s Cars meets the world of FIA World Endurance Championship racing?

Toyota made it real.

The scene takes the familiar racing imagery from the movie and places it into the world of modern endurance racing, where Toyota competes with purpose-built GR010 HYBRID Hypercars.

And the similarities are surprisingly fitting.

In Cars, the characters race for hours at high speed, battling for position while managing their cars, tires and strategy.

In the real FIA WEC, endurance racing is exactly that — except the physics are real, the cars are real, and the races can last for six, eight or even 24 hours. 😳

Toyota's GR010 HYBRID is a completely different machine from a road-going sports car. It's built specifically for competition, combining a turbocharged V6 engine with a hybrid electric system, while its aerodynamic bodywork is designed to generate the downforce and efficiency needed for long-distance racing.

But endurance racing isn't simply about having the fastest car.

Teams have to manage:

🛞 Tire wear
🔋 Hybrid energy deployment

🔧 Reliability
