#TakeActionTuesday: The 2026 U.S. Women’s Basketball World Cup champions have continued Team USA’s undefeated run in major international competition since 2006, a record built by generations of talented athletes and the opportunities that have helped them succeed.

All 12 players on this year’s roster played college basketball in the U.S. where Title IX has helped expand opportunities and ensure equal treatment for girls and women in school sports, from facilities and coaching to fair scheduling and resources. This championship shows what can happen when girls and women have access to strong programs and support at every level.

Investing in girls’ and women’s sports helps build winning teams while also giving young girls the chance to build confidence, develop their skills, and see what is possible for themselves. #TheEquityProject
