Raiders Vs Bristol Hurricanes - BCB Trophy.

Over the past 4 weeks it's been a huge honour for all involved as Raiders have been pitted against Division 1 & British Championship sides.

It's a challenge we accepted with great pride and knowledge that we'd be doing so against clubs and players operating at the highest levels of the UK game and from overseas.

This was also an opportunity to showcase the very best of Raiders and still one of the greatest game day sets up in British basketball.

A place any player would want to perform at in front of a fantastic fanbase.

As we set ourselves the goal of challenging for promotion from Division 2 and build for future seasons, we believe in our local players and what they've done to carry the hopes of Plymouth basketball fans this past 3 seasons. This is a very special group and for some this was the ultimate test as careers are in their final phase.

For our newer, younger players, this has been a taste of what's to come down the road.

Reflecting on the past few weeks, we've taken a huge amount of confidence and belief from Kings, Cardiff MET and Flyers, where we kept it tight for much of those games, and battled very hard.

Yesterday, for those present, you saw our young players proudly showing what they can do against elite players.

Attention now turns to our NBL campaign where we'll be ready to get our season fully underway - and we're ready having beaten Exeter Spartans in the NBL Cup on Friday night in a thriller.

We'll see you in 2 weeks where we meet Reading Rockets as we tip off in the League.

Our efforts there will fully define our season and we're very excited to get going.
