✨𝙃𝘼𝙐𝙉𝙏𝙀𝘿 𝙃𝙄𝙎𝙏𝙊𝙍𝙄𝘾 𝘽𝘼𝙍 𝙄𝙉 𝙃𝙊𝙐𝙎𝙏𝙊𝙉✨🍷👻 La Carafe is considered Houston’s oldest continuously operating building, dating back around the 1860’s. And of course, it wouldn’t be this old without a few ghost stories 👻👀 this bar is apparently haunted by an old bar manager named, Carl, who have been spotted several times in the upstairs window after closing.

There’s also a legend of a “lady in white,” who supposedly haunts the staircase. And this staircase is infamous for people tripping so is the lady in white supposedly pushing people?!?! 👀 when I went, a woman in heels tripped down the stairs (but she was also in heels and the staircase is narrow so it’s debatable…) my tip is to hold onto the railings lol

📍 La Carafe - 813 Congress St (downtown Houston)
