Police Officer SAYS THE N WORD‼️😳

(Follow Shottawa.TV for ALL EXCLUSIVE 🇨🇦 Content)

An Ottawa Police officer is facing criticism online after a video captured him repeating the N-word during a heated exchange with a member of the public.

In the clip, the individual can first be heard directing the term toward the officer, saying, “you dumbass n***a.” The officer then responds by using the hard-R version of the racial slur while referring to himself.

Some viewers argue the context matters, saying the officer was responding directly to language that had just been used toward him rather than directing the slur at someone else.

Others say there is absolutely no context in which a police officer should be using that word while interacting with the public, regardless of what was said to them first.

The clip has sparked debate over professionalism, context and the standards officers should be held to during confrontational interactions.

As of publication, we have not seen a public statement from Ottawa Police addressing this specific video.

Does the context change how you view what the officer said, or is the word completely unacceptable regardless? Thoughts on this clip⁉️🤔⤵️
