Millions of Canadians are getting another benefit payment next month ‼️🇨🇦💰

The next Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit payment is scheduled for October 5, 2026, providing tax-free support to eligible low- and modest-income Canadians.

The benefit, formerly known as the GST/HST credit, is paid quarterly. For the 2026–27 benefit year, maximum annual amounts can reach $679 for a single individual, $890 for a married or common-law couple, plus up to $234 for each eligible child under 19.
