If I were in my 20s and didn’t want to spend my time picking individual stocks, this is the kind of ETF portfolio I’d consider.

The idea is pretty simple. Put money in every month, spread it across different parts of the market, and give it a lot of time to compound.

I also like having some exposure to AI and semiconductors without putting my entire portfolio into a few individual AI stocks.

Here’s how I’d split it:

10% - 1st etf
10% - 2nd etf
50% - 3rd etf
20% — 4th etf
10% - 5th etf

Let’s say you’re putting in $600 a month.

That would be $60 into KOID, $60 into DRAM, $300 into VOO, $120 into VWO and $60 into BND.

Now look at what happens when you give it time.

If you start at 25 and invest $600 every month until 60, you would personally put in $252,000.

If the portfolio averaged 8% a year over those 35 years, that $600 monthly contribution could grow to roughly $1.24 million.

And if you were investing:

$500/month → roughly $1.03M
$600/month → roughly $1.24M
$700/month → roughly $1.44M

That’s why starting early matters so much.

You don’t have to spend your 20s trying to find the next Nvidia or the next 10x stock. You can build a diversified ETF portfolio, invest consistently and let compound growth do the heavy lifting over time.

Of course, an 8% annual return is only an assumption for this example. Markets don’t move in a straight line, and these returns aren’t guaranteed.

But the math shows why consistent monthly investing can be so powerful over 30+ years.

If you want the Canadian ETF alternatives, comment “TSX” and I’ll send them to you.

Btw It's not financial advice. I am not a financial advisor. This is just my personal opinion and research. You have to do your own research before putting a single dollar! This reel is made only for educational purposes.
