Did you know about these? 💭🤯 Cars have been sold with built-in vacuums, espresso machines, thermal night vision, ice makers, camping tents, and even a champagne-ready hosting suite.

Rolls-Royce took the idea furthest with the Boat Tail, whose butterfly-opening rear deck reveals a bespoke Hosting Suite with cocktail tables, stools, a parasol, dining equipment, and a temperature-controlled champagne refrigerator.

Tesla’s Model X offers Bioweapon Defense Mode on HEPA-equipped cars, using high-volume filtration and positive cabin pressure to reduce the amount of contaminated outside air entering the cabin.

Pontiac offered the Aztek with a Camping Package that included a tent attaching around the open rear of the vehicle and an inflatable air mattress, turning one of the strangest crossovers ever built into a surprisingly capable camper.

Honda introduced HondaVAC on the 2014 Odyssey Touring Elite, integrating a Shop-Vac-developed vacuum, hose, filter, canister, and attachments directly into the rear cargo area.

Rolls-Royce also engineered umbrellas directly into the Phantom’s rear doors, complete with drainage channels that allow them to be stored while still wet.

The 2000 Cadillac DeVille offered one of the earliest production automotive thermal night-vision systems, detecting heat from pedestrians, animals, and vehicles and projecting the image in front of the driver.

Toyota’s 1980s TownAce family, sold in some markets under names including Space Cruiser, could even be equipped with a refrigerator/warmer featuring an actual ice maker.

Fiat offered the 500L with a Lavazza espresso machine integrated into a purpose-designed console, while early Honda CR-Vs hid a removable four-legged picnic table directly in the cargo floor.

Which of these ridiculous-but-genius factory features would you actually want in your daily driver?

What are your thoughts? 🤔💭
