⭐️ Sophie Okonedo is stepping into the spotlight this fall with two powerful new performances.

The Oscar and Tony-nominated actress leads Clarissa, a contemporary Nigerian reimagining of Virginia Woolf’s Mrs. Dalloway, alongside David Oyelowo and Ayo Edebiri. She also stars in the coming-of-age drama Mouse, arriving in theaters this November.

Okonedo has proudly described herself as a “North London, working-class, Black, Jewish girl.” Her Nigerian and Jewish heritage has shaped an extraordinary career defined by range, depth and fearless storytelling.

With two acclaimed performances arriving in a single season, Sophie Okonedo is receiving the cinematic recognition her talent has long deserved.
