Game day views running the Show Control System, overlooking Sun Bowl Stadium and the Franklin Mountains. I get to work alongside some incredible professionals in the PA Booth — Arrion Ellis, Wendell Powers, DJ Jason Craig, MinerVision and the SRB Pro team.

Being up here always gives me a moment to reflect on my career and how much my role has evolved since coming back to the UTEP Miners.

What started with graphic design has grown into something much broader — connecting creative, branding, live production, and mentorship to help shape the overall game day experience.

Creative Leadership in Graphic Design: Driving the visual identity of UTEP Athletics and developing creative strategies that create consistency, strengthen the brand, and elevate the fan experience.

Game Day Production: Blending graphic design and live video production together to help build the energy and atmosphere across our venues.

Student Mentorship: Working with student interns through hands-on experience in graphic design and live production, while helping them develop their skills and experience what a game day can look like as a sports creative.

I’m grateful for how this role continues to challenge me, expand my perspective, and give me the opportunity to contribute to the University and the city that shaped me.
