Just because I can do something doesn’t mean I should be the one doing it.

I’ve always been the type of person who, if I didn’t know how to do something, I’d figure it out.

That’s helped me become resourceful and learn a lot of different skills. But it also taught me a harder lesson — I don’t have to be good at everything.

Episode 03 of Work In Progress is about recognizing where I bring the most value, learning to let other people bring their strengths to the table, and accepting that someone doing something differently doesn’t mean they’re doing it wrong.

Sometimes growth isn’t about learning how to do more.

It’s understanding what you bring — and knowing when to let somebody else bring what they do best.
