As a powerful nor'easter flooded parts of the Jersey Shore, one dog took an unusual ride through the rising water - on a kayak.

Footage filmed by Robin Shaffer shows his dog, Daisy, floating through flooded streets in Ocean City on Saturday, September 26.

Shaffer said he tried to make the best of a difficult situation, adding that Daisy appeared to enjoy the trip and received a treat when they reached their front steps.

The National Weather Service issued a coastal flood warning for the area, cautioning that water levels in low-lying locations could rise 2 to 3 feet above ground level.
